Fractional CO2 Laser Benefits for Your Patients

Are your patients suffering from sun damage, acne scarring, aging, or uneven pigmentation? If your answer is yes our Fractional C02 Laser could be perfect solution for you.

Fractional CO2 is a laser treatment that uses the Italian manufactured DOT Laser by SmartXide. This treatment will give your patients dramatic results by rebuilding lost collagen and helping repair the skins appearance and texture.

How Does the Fractional CO2 Laser Work?

The fractional CO2 laser creates thousands of microscopic perforations in the skin to start the healing process which minimizes and improves scars, tightens skin, reduces wrinkles and stimulates collagen. These micro-injury sites are only 15-20 percent of the treated area leaving a barrier for the healing process to take place faster and with less chance of complications.

The Fractional CO2 Laser DOT treatment takes two hours in total, the first hour you will numb the patient and the following will be for the procedure. Numbing cream is applied to the area that is being treated to reduce discomfort. Most clients report a stinging sensation during the treatment and afterwards a slight sun burnt feeling.  Both of these can be managed easily by over the counter pain relief medication which will be discussed prior to the procedure.

Fractional CO2 is safe on skin types 1 to 3 and most clients only need one treatment. However, this procedure would be more aggressive thus requiring a full 7 days of downtime. We recommend you plan this treatment to suit your patients schedule. Less aggressive treatments can be done with only 2-3 days of downtime  but would require more procedures to get the desired results.  To ensure your patients safety there are strict pre and post treatment protocols that must be followed. During the training process we will go over the pre and post protocol with you in detail.
